Important Warning

Gaming addiction is a mental health condition. If you feel that gaming is disrupting the normal rhythm of your life, seek help right away. The longer you wait, the worse it gets.

What Is Responsible Gaming?

Responsible gaming means playing for entertainment, within a pre-set budget, and with full awareness. At BDT 2, we believe gaming should be a source of fun — much like watching a film or spending time with friends. But like any form of entertainment, it comes with boundaries.

As online gaming continues to grow in Bangladesh, awareness of responsible gaming has never been more important. From day one, bdt 2 has been committed to ensuring that no one on our platform suffers financial or psychological harm as a result of gaming.

Recognize the Signs of Gaming Addiction

Many people don't realise when recreational gaming has crossed into addiction. Watch out for these warning signs in yourself:

  • Being unable to stop even after exceeding your set budget.
  • Chasing losses by placing more bets to recover money lost.
  • Hiding your gaming activity from family or friends, or lying about it.
  • Feeling restless or irritable when not gaming.
  • Neglecting work, studies, or family responsibilities because of gaming.
  • Repeatedly trying to cut back or stop gaming, but failing to do so.
  • Taking out loans or dipping into savings to fund gaming.
Please Note

If you recognise two or more of the signs above in yourself, take it as a warning signal. You should consider reducing or stopping gaming altogether — and seek professional help if needed. That's not weakness; it takes real courage.

The Golden Rules of Safe Gaming

Keep these guidelines in mind before you start gaming at BDT 2. Following them ensures gaming stays enjoyable and never becomes a burden.

  • Set your budget in advance: Decide how much you're willing to spend before you start gaming — and stick to it.
  • Be prepared to lose: Only use money you can afford to lose — funds whose loss won't affect your daily life.
  • Know When to Stop After a Win: After a big win, be satisfied with what you've earned — don't chase even bigger wins.
  • Stick to Your Time Limits: Avoid gaming for long stretches without a break. Step away regularly.
  • Don't Game When You're Stressed: Don't turn to gaming to cope with stress or low moods — it only makes things worse.
  • Don't Game Under the Influence: Avoid gaming while under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.

Gaming can never be a reliable source of income. All game outcomes on BDT 2 are RNG-based and entirely random. Anyone claiming to have a "strategy" for consistent wins is simply wrong.

Advice for Family Members

It's natural to be concerned if someone in your family seems to be spending excessive time or money on gaming. Rather than placing blame, it's important to know how to offer support.

  • Approach the conversation calmly — getting angry will only cause them to withdraw further.
  • If you don't know their gaming account password, contact BDT 2 support directly.
  • See a professional counselor together.
  • Encourage them to explore alternative hobbies and social activities.
